Pearl
When an irritant such as sand or salt enters a mollusk, it produces nacre, also known as mother-of-pearl. The nacre encases the irritant, protecting the mollusk and producing a beautiful pearl. The technology in our products does the same thing for your hair, removing the coastal aggressors and leaving you with beautiful hair.
Irritants
Metals in the water create unwanted reflects in the hair, like brass. When metal particles come in contact with the oxidants in color, they create a negative chemical reaction, leading to breakage and unreliable color results.
Sun exposure damages the hair protein, causing it to be dull and brittle.
Salt and sand are abrasive to the cuticle causing split ends, breakage, and frizz. Chlorine strips off natural oils, leaving your hair highly porous and often discolored.
Our Technology
Glicoamine, a molecule small enough to penetrate the hair fiber, encapsulates the irritants, allowing it to be neutralized and removed from the hair.
Once the impurities are captured and washed away, our sealant neutralizes the hair, bringing the ph back down and sealing the cuticle.
